In a totalitarian society of the future, every form of individuality is forbidden. Rules are made by an invisible “Big Brother” who, thanks to his followers, controls the actions of the population in such a way that nobody can have any subversive thought. Edmond O’Brien is an officer of the government, happy with his job until he commits an illegal action: he falls in love.
