First men in the Moon
The first manned U.N. space flight lands on the Moon only to discover a tattered Union Jack and a message written in 1899. On Earth, the experts track down an old man, Arnold Bedford, in an institution, who tells them how he had indeed reached the Moon, over sixty years ago, in the anti-gravity spaceship invented and piloted by his eccentric neighbour, Professor Cavor.
