Clementine and Lucas are a couple of French intellectuals living in a house that is completely secluded from civilization, in the heart of the Romanian woods. What appears to be an idyllic stay for both of them soon becomes a real nightmare. They start to receive strange recurrent phone calls until one night, someone or something enters the old mansion. Horrified, they both discover that in the dark, an evil force lies in wait for them, isolated in a big, old house full of cameras and secret passages from the times of Vlad The Impaler.
