A mysterious stranger calling himself T.J. Newton heaps up a fortune thanks to the patents for his revolutionary inventions that will transform the communications industry. Newton is actually an alien from another world where the inhabitants are dying from a lack of water, and he inaugurates a space programme designed to return him to his home planet.
