Rendez-vous à Trieste with Enki Bilal!
Urania Award to the great graphic novelist, at scienceplusfiction with the collaboration of "Napoli Comicon"
This year the Uraina Award gets double: Enki Bilal will receive the life achievement award and will go, together with the audience, through the main stages of his journey in and out of cinema. Bilal, born in Belgrade in 1951, directed for the cinema Bunker Palace Hôtel (1989), Tykho Moon (1996) and Immortel (ad vitam) (2004). Bilal is very well-known for his work in the field of comics and graphic novels: among the titles he published, there are the trilogy of Nikopol, from which Immortel was taken, and the tetralogy - started in 1998 with “Le sommeil du mostre” - that has its third chapter in “Rendez-vous à Paris”, just released in Italy. The meetings are organised in collaboration with "Napoli Comicon" (Salone Internazionale del Fumetto e dell'Animazione).
