Los Cronocrimenes wins the Asteroid
Absence is awarded among the shorts
Los Cronocrimenes, Spanish movie directed by Nacho Vigalondo, has won the Asteroid as Best Science Fiction Feature Film in the 07 edition of Science+Fiction. It is Viaglondo's first long feature, after his short film 7:35 de la Manana earned him a nomination for the Academy Awards.
The jury, headed by Alfredo Castelli, also featured Anais Emery, Fritz Herzog, Jean-Francois Rauger and Alla Verlotsky.
Among the European Fantastic Shorts, the nomination for the Méliès d'Or went to French movie Absence, directed by Kevin Lecomte. A special mention, among the shorts, went to British movie The Reptile Day, directed by Tom Hickmore.
