Amongst the titles confirmed for our Voyage Fantastique, we are very excited to announce the screening of one of the milestones of French fantastic cinema, Franju’s masterpiece Les Yeux Sans Visage. Besides, we are honoured to feature the film that won the first edition of Trieste International Science Fiction Film Festival in 1963: La Jetée, by Chris Marker, will be accompanied by a wide selection of early French silent short films, including De Chomon’s works, rarely shown on the big screen. Marker’s masterpiece will anticipate what will probably be the festival’s highlight. If you want to know what we are talking about, stay tuned!
