Tribute to Stanislaw Lem
A tribute to the work of polish great novelist
Asteroids, section featuring the best films of the historic editions of Trieste International Science Fiction Film Festival (1963-1982), this year will be focused on a special tribute to the memory of Polish writer Stanislaw Lem, with some sci-fi gems from Eastern Europe, such as Der Schweigende Stern (Kurt Maetzig, 1960) Ikarie XB1 (Jindrich Polák, 1963), Solaris (Andrei Tarkovsky, 1972) and Test pilota Pirxa (Marek Piestrak, 1978).
