2006 Méliès d'Or at Espoo Ciné
scienceplusfiction at the Méliès d'Or finale
This year, scienceplusfiction will be present at the Méliès d'Or Ceremony, that takes place within Espoo Ciné International Film Festival (August 22-28) in Finland.
Taking part in the Méliès d'Or competition are 10 European fantastic feature films and 15 fantastic short films, selected by the festivals of the EFFFF. scienceplusfiction contributed to the selection by nominating Swiss short film Terra Incognita (directed by Peter Volkart) in the last edition of the festival.
This year the Méliès d’Or jury is chaired by the Finnish director Petri Kotwica.
The winners of the Méliès d’Or 2006 will be announced on Friday the 25th August at the grand Méliès d’Or Ceremony.
With its presence, scienceplusfiction wants to confirm and reinforce its support to European fantastic cinema.
