Joe Dante
Joe Dante, director of titles such as Piranha, Gremlins and The Second Civil War, will be the special guest of Science+Fiction 07.
The filmmaker will be awarded with the Silver Urania, the life achievement prize in collaboration instituted together with Urania, the biggest Italian sci fi magazine. Joe Dante will present to the audience of the festival a selection of his masterpieces, such as Innerspace (1987), Matinee (1983) and Small Soldiers (1998), up to the recent Homecoming (2005) an episode of the Masters of Horror series.
