Los Cronocrimenes

Los Cronocrimenes, Spanish movie directed by Nacho Vigalondo, has won the Asteroid as Best Science Fiction Feature Film in the 07 edition of Science+Fiction. It is Viaglondo's first long feature, after his short film 7:35 de la Manana earned him a nomination for the Academy Awards.

The jury, headed by Alfredo Castelli, also featured Anais Emery, Fritz Herzog, Jean-Francois Rauger and Alla Verlotsky.

Among the European Fantastic Shorts, the nomination for the Méliès d'Or went to French movie Absence, directed by Kevin Lecomte. A special mention, among the shorts, went to British movie The Reptile Day, directed by Tom Hickmore.
